until 2 am in the morning.
Description of Salsa classes:
Ladies Styling (Not offered at this time)
Ladies' styling is any dance movement that enhances the dance and adds sexiness and femininity to it.
Elements of styling include Head whips/rolls, hand positions, arm styling footwork, leg lines spins, and body movement.
When done well it is beautiful to watch and very sexy too ! It is one aspect of social dancing that the ladies can control,
since the men control the pattern. Styling brings individuality and style to the dance, hence the name "styling".
Last but not least, it is alot of fun.
Men's Footwork / Shines & Masculine Styling (Not offered at this time)
Calling all male dancers...Do you feel intimidated by Salsa Footwork? Do you feel uncertain,uneasy,uncomfortable with dancing solo?
The Cultural Explosion system of teaching Footwork is unparalled. You will be learning combinations and the key groups of moves that every dancer uses to do footwork, so that soon you will be creating your own combinations. Some key concepts are crosses, flares, heels, syncopations ad more. Each week you will be focusing on a different concept.
So no need to shy away from Footwork anymore! Don't let the ladies take all the spotlight...it's time for you to learn to Shine and "Shine" on the dancefloor.
Transition Salsa on"1" to Salsa on"2" ( Not offered at this time)
Cultural Explosion has developed a unique system to teach the intermediate and above on "1' dancer how to seamlessly transition
his/her dancing to on"2". Our classes will have you quickly taking what you already know and transferring your knowledge on on"2' so that you can dance this style quickly and easily.
