STARLIGHT dance center is where you and your family can learn to dance, meet new friends and have a lot of fun in a warm, clean and friendly environment. Founded by Katharina Marks in January, 2003, STARLIGHT is known for excellent instruction in every style of dance, a friendly staff, warm atmosphere and the most beautiful ballroom in the New Jersey/New York City area.

STARLIGHT’s 10,000 square foot facility attracts adults, children, amateur dancers, and professional dancers - including world champions - to our grand 4,000 square foot performance floor. We also have 3 ballrooms with wide open space, large windows and high ceilings, plus a solid mirror wall that spans 85 feet. Our European style ballroom is a real reflection of the style, professionalism and class of the instructors working here.

About STARLIGHT's Instructors and Dance Classes
Our professional dance instructors are from all over the world including Germany, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, China, Argentina, Australia and the USA.  They are highly trained and many are currently competing on the world circuit.  If you visit our dance studio in the early afternoon, you may catch some of the best professional dancers rehearse their routines.
 
Taking lessons at STARLIGHT means you will work with a specialist on your chosen style - whether it is International Latin or Standard, American Rhythm or Ballroom, Hustle, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing or Salsa. Dance lessons are available for anyone looking to build confidence at a social dance, preparing for a wedding or competition, or simply looking to have fun.

Our ballroom dancing lessons, salsa dancing lessons, aerobic dancing, salsa dancing lessons, tango lessons and other dancing classes are custom tailored to your needs. We offer group courses or private lessons for every age and dance skill level. Wedding couples enjoy our special packages designed just for them. Our Instructors will choreograph a dance to the music of your choice, to get you ready for the most memorable dance of your life.

At STARLIGHT you will have many opportunities to social dance, make new friends and practice what you learned in class.  All of our Social Dances and NJ singles events are open to the public and our students.
