Giampiero Giannico one of our most accomplished Instructors here at STARLIGHT retires officially from competitive Ballroom Dancing. He has achieved some major goals. He was a Finalist in Blackpool England, the most prestigious competition in the world. To have danced in the top 6 at this competition is a dream for all competitors. He represented the United States in the World Championships placing in the finale. He was a semifinalist in all major competitions all over the world. Giampiero was invited to perform, teach and lecturein Japan, China, Russia and all over Europe.

Hazel Ulrich teaches now at STARLIGHT!!!!!!!!!
Hazel is an accomplished West Coast Swing and Hustle dancer.
Most recently Hazel with her partner Tybaldt have placed 2nd in the Tripple Threat (WCS,Hustle,Salsa) at the Big Easy Classic, 1st in the 2005 World Hustle Chapionships, 1st in the Classic WCS and Cabaret at the 2005 Dance America in Seattle, 2nd in Classic WCS, Hustle and Cabaret at the 2005 MADJAM. They also tour all over the United States performing and teaching. We are proud to have Hazel part of our teaching staff at STARLIGHT.

Dance Evolution Project is ready to go!!!!!!!!!
Giampiero Giannico, Katharina Marks and STARLIGHT are launching this exciting project February of 2007. The mission is to bring the Best coaches in the world and professional and amateur competitors together on a regular basis for continous training right here at STARLIGHT. There will be regular practice sessions, competition simulations, lectures and workshops with other professionals such as fitness trainers, nutrionists, psychologists, make-up artists etc. Dance Evolution Project will offer everything a serious competitor needs to become one of the Best dancers in the world.
