RECITAL INFORMATION!!
Date of Recital: Saturday, December 17 2011 at the John H. Middle-School
325 Franklin Ave. Nutley, NJ
Show-Times:
1st Show 11:45 am (Doors open for seating 11:00 am)
2nd Show 2:15 pm (Doors open for seating 1:30 pm)
Tickets are available for purchase starting Monday November 21
There will be OPEN SEATING at the Auditorium.
Only one door will be opened at the time of seating to assure that early guests have first choice seating.
The first row will be reserved for one adult guardian who has a child dancing in our Pre Ballet/Tap, Ballet/Tap/Jazz, and Hip Hop ages 4-5 classes and Creative Movement classes. (We are not able to reserve for their friends and other family members) One adult per child ONLY!! Mom/Dad/Grandparent/Uncle, etc.. After your childs performance please go back to the backstage area to stay with your child.
If you wish to watch the rest of the show you are welcome to go upstairs to the balcony until the final bow.
The Theater has to be emptied completely after the first show. No belongings are allowed to block seats for the next show. All items left in the Theater between the two shows will be removed.

Ticket Fees:
$15 per person
$10 for kids 4-8 years of age
Free for kids 3 and younger
Free for all performers
Free for registered backstage helpers
If you have two children, one dances in the first show, the other in the second show
Please purchase Tickets for the first show and Starlight will give you the same amount of Tickets for the second show free of charge.
How to register as a Parent Backstage Helper / Volunteer
Starlight is looking for 1 or 2 Helpers per class to watch over a group of children backstage. A Helper will be responsible to keep the children of your designated group occupied during the times of waiting, by reading to them, play games ect. Starting Monday, Nov. 21, you will be able to sign up as a backstage helper. Please see the front desk for the sign-up sheet. Not every class needs backstage helpers. When your group/child is performing you may watch from the wings of the stage. Do not purchase a ticket for yourself.
Photo Day
A Photo week is scheduled for Monday Jan. 30 - Saturday Feb. 4. Photos will be taken during classes for action shots as well as portraits.
Starlight hired a new professional Photography company who will also be taking photos during the recital. Please bring enclosed form with payment to the recital.
DVD Orders
There will be Order forms available starting Monday Nov. 21. 1 DVD $38
There will be NO VIDEO TAPING OR PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW.
Gifts on the day of the recital
Small Gift items from "Dancewear ect." and Starlight T-Shirts will be available for purchase.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE FRIDAY Dec. 16
The Rehearsal is scheduled for FRIDAY DECEMBER 16, from 4 PM-6 PM
LOCATION: John H. Walker Middle-School. 325 Franklin Ave. Nutley, NJ
Please check in at the theater upon arrival.
This rehearsal is mandatory for all performers.
It is not necessary to wear a costume or to have make-up and hair made up.
This rehearsal is for staging only, and to give the performers a feel for the stage.
